or MOELIA, one of the Comora islands in the Indian sea, between the north end of Madagascar and the continent of Africa. The inland parts are mountainous and woody; but the lands adjoining to the sea are watered by several fine streams. The island abounds with provisions of all kinds; and the East India ships of different nations sometimes touch here for refreshment.
