Pargeting is of various kinds: as, 1. White lime and hair mortar laid on bare walls. 2. On bare laths, as in partitioning and plain ceiling. 3. Rendering the inside of walls, or doubling partition walls. 4. Roughcasting on heart laths. 5. Plastering on brick work, with finishing mortar, in imitation of stone work; and the like upon heart laths.
