or Pedred river, has its rise in the southern part of Somersetshire in England, and being joined by several other small rivers, the Evel; and about four miles from this junction, it is joined by the Tone or Thone, a pretty large river, rising among the hills in the western parts of this county. About two miles below the junction, it passes by the town of Bridgewater, and falls into the Bristol channel in Bridgewater bay.
