a very beautiful city in Bukharia, supposed to be the same with that which is now called Tashcant, the capital of the eastern part of Turkestan, possessed by the Kassats. It is situated on the river Sihon, now Sirr, and had a well-watered garden for every house; but was ruined by Jenghis Khan, who took the city, and caused a great number of its inhabitants to be massacred.
