a part or branch of the Vindili or Vandili, placed by Cluverius about the Warta, a river of Poland; though the conjectures as to the seat of this people are doubtful. They afterwards removed to Cisalpine Germany, and at length to Celtic Gaul, and gave name to the duchy and county of Burgundy.
