a river, which, taking its rise near Innichen, in Tyrol, on the borders of Salzburg, traverses Carinthia and Styria, and after receiving the Mur at Legrad, and separating Croatia and Slavonia from Hungary, falls into the Danube below Essek. It is navigable from Villach in Carinthia. Some gold is collected from its bed by washing.
