a town of the district of Liegnitz, in the Prussian province of Silesia, on the river Dreischel. It contains two Catholic churches, one Lutheran, and 360 houses, with 2870 inhabitants, chiefly employed in woollen manufactures. Near to the town are some good veins of fuller's earth.
