a town of Hindustan, in the province of Agra, and district of Furruckabad, surrounded by a mud wall. It is situated near the south-west bank of the Ganges, and forty-three miles north-north-west from Furruckabad. Long. 79° 2'. E. Lat. 27° 50'. N.

KADMONÆI, or CADMONÆI, in Ancient Geography, a people of Palestine, said to have dwelt at the foot of Mount Hermon, which lies to the eastward, and is the reason of the appellation, with respect to Libanus, Phoenicia, and the northern parts of Palestine. They were also called Hexæi.
