a town of Hindustan, in the province of Delhi, district of Bareilly. It has considerably declined from its ancient consequence, having been the seat of a mint, in which rupees were coined, which are still current in Hindustan. It is fifty miles north-west from the town of Bareilly. This is also the name of a town belonging to Sindia, in the province of Ajmeer, forty miles from the city of that name.
