or **Prejudgment**, from *præ* and *judicium*, means a judgment formed beforehand, without examination; the preposition *præ* expressing an anticipation, not so much of time as of knowledge and due attention; and hence the schoolmen have called it *anticipation* and a *pre-conceived opinion*.
