the most southern point of Bruny's Island, on the north-east coast of Van Diemen's Land.

Tasman's Island, a great peninsula connected with Van Diemen's Land by an isthmus 600 feet broad by about 1800 long. At the southern extremity is a small island, called Tasman's Island.
