a market town in the Austrian dominions, in Italy, with 2600 inhabitants. It is in the government of Venice, and in the delegation of Bellano, on the river Cordovolo. In its vicinity are mines of copper, lead, sulphur, and vitriol, the preparation of which is the chief occupation of the people.
