son of Leogoras, an Athenian orator and soldier, who was implicated with Alcibiades in the charge of mutilating the Hermæ of the city, and went into exile for a time. He returned to Athens when Thrasybulus restored liberty to his country. Four orations attributed to him remain; but the authenticity of the one against Alcibiades is disputed.—See Bekker's Attic Orators.
