Q. PEDIANUS, a Roman of the time of Vespasian, who wrote a good commentary on the orations of Cicero, a fragment of which was recovered by Poggio Bracciolini, when he attended the Council of Constance in 1416; but the MS. has again disappeared. Other fragments have been recovered by Mai. The best edition of Asconius is that of Orelli, Zurich, 1833.
