JULIUS, a learned monk, and professor of Hebrew at Rome, was born at Celano in 1613. He distinguished himself by writing a Hebrew and Latin catalogue of the Hebrew writers and writings, entitled Bibliotheca Magna Rabbinica, &c., in four volumes folio. This important work was continued by his disciple Imbonati. Bartolocci died in 1687.
