a market-town in Warwickshire, 8 miles E. of Birmingham. It stands on a hill washed by the Cole, which is here crossed by a bridge. It is well built; and the parish church is a handsome Gothic edifice, with a lofty spire, a Norman font, and several monuments. Pop. (1851) 1980.
