TIBERIUS and CAIUS, celebrated Roman tribunes and popular leaders, were the sons of the famous Cornelia, and thus grandsons of the elder Scipio Africanus. Tiberius, the elder and greater of the two, was born about 163 B.C., and was killed in 133 B.C.; Caius was born in 154 B.C., and was killed in 121. The personal history of both these men is only important in so far as it is connected with the general history of Rome. See ROMAN HISTORY.
