a river of New South Wales, formed by the junction of the Nepean and Grose, and falling into Broken Bay 20 miles N. of Sydney. It has a course of about 130 miles, and is navigable for vessels of 150 tons to Windsor, 40 miles from the sea in a direct line, but upwards of a 100 by the windings of the river.
