is a contract made merely by consent, without employing any definite form of agreement. He who promises the use of a thing is locator; he who promises a sum of money for the use of it is conductor. Again, in giving services, or the result of labour for a fixed price, the person for whom the service is done is called locator; the person doing it conductor or redeemer.
