St. Bay of, a large and beautiful bay on the W. coast of the mainland of Shetland, about 8 miles wide at its mouth, and afterwards expanding to about 11 miles, and extending 7 miles inland. It affords excellent anchorage for the largest vessels. The island of Papa-Stour is at the S. side of its mouth.
