King of Numidia, was the son of Massinissa, and succeeded his father in 148 B.C., along with his two brothers Gulussa and Mustanabal—the kingdom being divided by Scipio between the three, in such a way that Micipsa possessed Cirta, the capital, in his portion of the inheritance.
