a seaport of Laristan in Persia, which has one of the most secure roadsteads in the Persian Gulf. It is formed by Cape Bostana to the eastward, and by Point Cortes to the west. It is capable of containing the largest fleets, and the entrances are about 10 miles astern. It is 80 miles south of Lar.
