(Magyar Pinkafő or Pinkafő), a market-town of Hungary, in the county of Eisenburg, stands on the Pinka, not far from the Styrian frontier, 19 miles W. of Güns. It contains a palace belonging to the Batthyani family; and in the vicinity there is an abundant and much-frequented chalybeate spring. Woollen cloth of various kinds is manufactured here, and an active trade in horses is carried on. Pop. 4000.
