Cornelius, a laborious Dutchman, who was born about 1616, and who has published some editions of the ancient classics, more distinguished for elegance than accuracy. His Lexicon Manuale, which is full of blunders, but which was a good book for its day, is esteemed the best of all his works. He died in 1667.
