a town of the Mexican Confederation, in the department and 20 miles E.N.E. of Mexico, on the east shore of the Lake of Tezucu. It is in general well built; has manufactures of woollen and cotton cloth; and carries on an active trade. There are here many interesting remains of antiquity. Pop. 5000.
