Review exercise: three decisions from Imperial Careers

AI and History Conference, 15 October 2026. Start with R1, R3 and R8: two familiar decisions and one new case. Take six minutes to decide, then discuss Harris. Five further cases follow for practice. Your answers stay in this browser until you download or copy them.

For each case: read the passage, look at what the model or the pipeline proposed, weigh the evidence, and record a decision with a reason. "Unresolved" is a legitimate answer when the evidence does not settle it; say what would.

What the columns mean

Accept: the proposal is supported by the evidence shown, for this mention. Reject: it is contradicted, or it changes the source's meaning. Unresolved: the evidence does not decide it; write what would. A decision is for this record only: accepting that one "Victoria" is British Columbia does not decide the next one.

Worked answers are on the answers page. Read them after you have decided.
