TARSUS, now Tarsillo, once the capital of Cilicia, in the Lesser Asia, now a province of Asiatic Turkey, is situated on the north side of the Levant sea: E. long. $35^\{\backslash circ\}$, N. lat. $37^\{\backslash circ\}$.
