ABNOBA, now ABENOW, a long range of mountains in Germany, taking different names according to the different countries they run through. As about the river Maine, called the Oden or Ottewald; between Hesse and Franconia, the Speffart; and about the duchy of Wirtemberg, where the Danube takes its rise, called the Baar.
