FELIX (Minutius), a father of the primitive church, who flourished about the beginning of the third century. He was an African by birth, and a lawyer by profession; and has written a very elegant dialogue in defence of the Christian religion, intitled Octavius, from the name of the principal speaker. This work was long attributed to Arnobius; but was ascribed to the genuine author by Balduine, a celebrated lawyer, in his edition of 1560 printed at Heidelberg. The best edition of it is that at Cambridge, in 1712, by Dr. Davis.
