AUGUSTALIA, a festival instituted by the Romans in honour of Augustus Cæsar, on his return to Rome, after having settled peace in Sicily, Greece, Syris, Asia, and Parthia; on which occasion they likewise built an altar to him, inscribed Fortune reduci.
