ST DAVID'S, an episcopal town of Pembrokeshire, in S. Wales; but has neither market nor fair. It is seated in a barren soil on the river Ilan, not a mile from the sea-shore. It was once a considerable place, and had walls, which are now demolished; but it is small at present, and thinly inhabited; however, the cathedral is a pretty good structure. From the cape, near this place, there is a prospect into Ireland. W. Long. 5. 20. N. Lat. 52. 0.
