ADRAMYTUM (anc. geog.), now Andramytti; a town of Mysia Major, at the foot of mount Ida, an Athenian colony, with a harbour and dock near the Caeus. Adramyttenus the epithet; as, Adramyttenus Sinus, a part of the Egean Sea, on the coast of Mysia; Adramyttenus Conventus, sessions or assizes. The eighth in order of the nine Conventus Juridici of the province of Asia.
