PATRICA, a town of Italy, in the territory of the church, and in the Campagna of Rome, towards the sea-coast, and eight miles east of Ostia. About a mile from this place is a hill called Monte de Livano, which some have thought to be the ancient Lavinium founded by Aeneas.
