BADEN, the chief city of the above margravate, has a caftle that ftands on the top of a hill, which is the refidence of a prince. The town is feated among hills, on rocky and uneven ground, which renders the ftreets inconvenient and crooked. It is famous for its baths, the fprings of which are faid to be above 300.
