CORONÆ, in Ancient Geography, a town of Bœotia, near Mount Hælicon, and the lake Copais, situated on an eminence: famous for the defeat of the Athenians and Bœotians by Agelaus. Another Corona of Thessaly; having Nartbacium to the east, and Lamin near the Sperchius to the north (Ptolemy).
