CAUDETTE, a town in the province of Albacete, Spain. It contains about 1200 houses, a town-house, prison, school of primary instruction, Carmelite convent and several other religious institutions. The inhabitants are engaged almost exclusively in agriculture and the manufacture of coarse fabrics for home consumption. The town was once fortified, and possesses some Roman remains. Pop. 5502.
