CORLEONE, a town of Sicily, intendency of Palermo, and 22 miles S. of the city of that name, on the declivity of a hill near the source of the Belici. It is pretty well built, and has several churches and convents, a royal college, a prison, and some other public buildings. Pop. 15,000.
