or ELECTORIUM ET SCAMMONIO, in pharmacy, is composed of the following ingredients: An ounce and a half of scammony; of cloves and ginger, each fix drams; half a pound of honey; half a dram of essential oil of caraway-seeds; the spices must be ground together and mixed with the honey; then add the powdered scammony, and afterwards the oil. This electuary is a warm brisk purgative.
