Volume 4 · 60 words · 1797 Edition

one of the most magnificent palaces in Italy, seated on a hill, in Ronciglione, whose foot is watered by the river Tircia. It was built by cardinal Farnese; and has five fronts, in the middle of which is a round court, though all the rooms are square, and well proportioned. It is 27 miles north-west of Rome.
