(anc. geog.) Tacitus; a river of Belgica, which runs north-east into the left or west side of the Rhine. Now the Nahe, rising at the village Naheweiler, on the borders of the bishopric of Triers, running through the Lower Palatinate, the duchy of Simmeren, by the small town of Bing, into the Rhine.
