in *Ancient Geography*, a town of Galilee, in the Peræa, which, being walled round by Herod Antipas, was called Julias, after Julia, the daughter of Augustus, and consort of Tiberius. It stood to the north of the lake of Genesareth, at the influx of the Jordan into that lake.
