a large parish of Wales, in the county of Carnarvon and hundred of Irwigfai, 250 miles from London. The town of Carnarvon forms part of this parish, and the population of the whole amounted in 1801 to 3626, in 1811 to 4595, in 1821 to 5788, and in 1831 to 7642.
