a town of Wirtemberg, in the circle of Neckar, and capital of a bailiwick of the same name. It is situated upon the declivity of a hill, 11 miles S.W. of Stuttgart. Pop. 3300, engaged in the manufacture of woollen goods, vinegar, beer, aquafortis, and chemicals.
