a town of Hindustan, in the province of Rajpootana, 13 miles N.E. from the city of Ajmeer. It is the capital of a small but independent principality of the same name. The rajah is of the Rhatore tribe. Kulliam Singh Rajah, of Kishenagur, entered into a treaty in 1818 with the British government, acknowledging their supremacy. Some years later serious disturbances occurred within his dominions, which he was unable to quell; and eventually, in 1832, he abdicated in favour of his son, and retired within the British territories.
