a town of India, in the Rajpoot state of Joudpore, 108 miles S.W. of Nussereeabad, and 351 S.W. of Delhi; N. Lat. 25.48., E. Long. 73.24. It is an ancient town, and was formerly surrounded by walls; but these were destroyed at the request of the inhabitants; as they made the place an object of contest in the civil wars of Joudpore. Pallee belongs immediately to the sovereign of Joudpore, and is not subject to any inferior feudal lords. He obtained from it an annual revenue estimated at L.7500. It is a place of considerable trade, as it stands at the intersection of the commercial routes from Cutch to the northern provinces, and from Malwah to Sindh. Pop. estimated at 50,000.
