or Sezze (anc. Setia), a town of the Papal States, in the province and 18 miles S.W. of Frosinone. The place was anciently celebrated for its wine, but this is not now above mediocrity. Here are the remains of an old temple of Saturn, and of the Cyclopean fortifications of the town. Figs and other fruits are grown in the neighbourhood. Pop. 8650.
